The parent company STYRAX, a.s. usually focuses more on the IT part of the delivery, while the subsidiary STYRAX Consulting, a.s. provides consulting and analysis using industry-specific know‑how of consultants.

The joint-stock company STYRAX, a.s. was founded in January 2006 and is registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague.
We focus primarily on developing and implementing information systems, as well as providing consulting and analytical services.

Our clients know they can always rely on us. Our employees are leading specialists in the field, and we have an integrated management system whose quality was confirmed in 2007 with certifications for the quality management system according to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001, project quality management system according to ČSN EN ISO 10006:2004, environmental management system ČSN EN ISO 14001:2005, and occupational health and safety management system according to OHSAS 18001:1999. Successful recertifications to the current versions of the standards are carried out regularly.
The company STYRAX Consulting, a.s. was established in 2009 as a subsidiary of the software company STYRAX, a.s., focusing on providing consulting to health insurers, medical facilities, state and public administration. The team is primarily composed of consultants with many years of experience in public health insurance, management, project control, information system design, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
In 2006, the company STYRAX, a.s. was founded. From a small firm with only a few employees, it has grown into a medium-sized company employing around 100 experienced IT specialists, testers, and consultants. The company’s headquarters are in Prague, with branches in Břeclav, Strakonice, Písek, and Vimperk.
A few years later, in 2009, the subsidiary company STYRAX Consulting, a.s. was established as an independent firm focusing primarily on consulting services and advice in healthcare, especially within the health insurance sector, data analysis and processing of large volumes, data mining, fraud detection, artificial intelligence, and more.
At the end of 2018, the company made its first acquisition in history. In 2019, STYRAX, a.s. became one of the founding members of the VIM.Perk association, which aims to support the development of technical education in Vimperk and its surroundings. In 2020, the company surpassed 100 million CZK in cumulative revenue for the first time in its history.
Our main activity is software development and consulting services.
We do big things for large and well-known companies. They are usually not very visible, they operate in the background, but you can often encounter them in everyday life such as portals or applications for health insurers, central securities depositories in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, or meal voucher companies like Pluxee.
We are a stable employer, and we value our employees as well as their skills and experience. We create shared values. We care about the selection process, not just because it pays off in the long run. We want everyone to feel good here.
We are not a corporate firm, and the family spirit with informal relationships and easy sharing of information and experience still thrives here.
We use informal address, as is customary in families. A large family usually cannot live together in one place, and we have five branches already. Not all new employees have to work in Prague. They can work at our offices in Brno, Strakonice, Písek or Vimperk.
In March 2021, we became holders of the prestigious international AAA Platinum award from Bisnode, an independent rating agency with over 112 years of tradition. This certificate confirms that we are among the most trustworthy companies in the Czech Republic, as we have met Bisnode’s rigorous economic entity rating criteria for more than five years.
In August 2021, we received the international Top Rating certificate. The assessment according to Dun & Bradstreet’s international methodology evaluates our company’s stability, solvency and credibility.
In January 2025, we earned the prestigious international TOP Stable Company certificate from CRIF – Czech Credit Bureau, confirming that we have achieved very good and stable performance in the recent period.

CRIF, which awards the TOP Stable Company certificate, recognized STYRAX, a.s. for its sustained increase in revenue over the past several years. “In addition, there was a significant rise in profit during the most recent assessment period. The company has above‑average liquidity, low debt levels, and good profitability that has improved markedly year over year. It also has a relatively short average maturity of short‑term liabilities. We positively assess the high volume of cash resources,” CRIF states in its evaluation.
The collection, analysis and final assessment of the data—leading ideally to the award of the certificate—is handled by the global analytical firm CRIF. This company operates in 37 countries worldwide and holds an ESMA European rating licence.
AAA rating is an independent company rating that dates back to 1908. Bisnode is a leading European provider of economic information on companies and entrepreneurs. Thanks to our long-term financial stability, we have met the very strict criteria for receiving this award. By obtaining the certificate, our company has joined an exclusive group of the most trustworthy companies in the Czech Republic.
The International Top Rating certificate highlights the exceptional quality and reliability of the awarded company, indicating minimal risk in collaborating with it. Only companies that maintain a D&B Rating risk factor score of 1, the highest possible value, receive this certificate. The stringent rating criteria ensure exclusivity and confirm the company’s strong market position. D&B demonstrates that doing business with our company poses minimal risk, and the awarded certificate confirms the stability of this rating over the past year.
We have an integrated management system, whose quality was confirmed in 2007 with certification for the quality management system according to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001, for project quality management according to ČSN EN ISO 10006:2004, for environmental management according to ČSN EN ISO 14001:2005, and for Occupational Health and Safety management according to OHSAS 18001:1999. In 2010 a successful recertification was carried out for the current versions of these standards.
In spring 2011 our company obtained additional certificates: ISO/IEC20000-1 in the area of providing IT and telecommunications service support, and ISO/IEC 27001:2006 in the area of information system development, implementation, maintenance, consulting and analytical services, and project management. In November 2022 the company STYRAX Consulting, a.s. also received the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certificate.
ČSN EN ISO 21500:2012This international standard represents the rules for applying quality management in projects of varying complexity, duration and environment, as well as different types of product or process. It assumes a certain adaptation of the guidance so that it is suitable for a specific project. The standard is not a guide for project management itself, but provides guidance on the quality of processes in project management. It expands and complements ISO 9000, or 9001, with specifications typical for projects.

This applies to the aspects that the organization has identified and can manage, as well as those it influences.

This international standard for IT Service Management derives from the British standard BS 15000 and aligns with the process approach defined by the UK government’s Business Library ITIL. The main goal of this standard is to introduce rigorous internal and external procedures into the management of IT services and infrastructure, benefiting both employees and our clients.
By adopting this standard, an organization is better positioned to improve and modernise IT processes, increase efficiency, and ensure controlled, consistently high‑quality service delivery at an internal level as well as for its customers.

Certificate of ZEAThis certificate is the result of an independent assessment of the software product Secure Electronic Archive (ZEA) and declares that ZEA meets the determining requirements of the Archival Act, National Standard for Electronic Records Management Systems and is created according to the requirements of the international working group LTANS.
